Hi! I'm Alex, owner of Black Moon Studio!

I got my degree in Illustration at the Maine College of Art in 2012.

I always loved body art- as a college student I would draw all over my peers and give them temporary tattoos during study sessions in my dorm with ball point pens and eyeliner sticks. My love of drawing in the past was seen as a disruption to my work and studies. Finally I decided that I was done with being told I cannot draw all the time- and decided to take it to the next level. 

I worked as an apprentice for several years at multiple studios learning as much as I possibly could. I never quit- despite the temptation.

I kept going and kept pushing forward. 

Now today, I have opened my own studio to help spread my art and passions with those who are willing to wear my designs. I hope to see you soon!
